Immune Booster Lemon Ginger Tea

Whether you’ve just come in from the snow or some other strenuous activity, the hot soothing blend of lemon, ginger and Humbolt Apothecary’s Inflammation Soother tincture may help soothe tired muscles and joints. As it warms you from the inside this delicious tea may reduce inflammation and stiffness.

Original recipe contributed by Humboldt Apothecary.

Ingredients:

  • One cup of water to a one-inch piece of ginger root and simmer for 10-minutes
  • 1/4 – 1/2 lemon strained lemon juice per cup
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • Humboldt Apothecary Inflammation Soother (dosed as desired)

Preparation:

Simmer ginger root for 10-minutes and pour into tea cup. Add lemon, stir in honey and add tincture. Stir and serve with thinly sliced lemon as garnish.

Make adjustments to suit your taste preferences. Ginger is very anti-inflammatory and is supportive of respiratory health. It is also stimulating to the circulation and warming.
